Every Friday, a story that changes how you decide.

I write about storytelling applied to proposals, brands, startups and projects competing for attention (and usually losing it).

The Ñusletter

I'm always telling stories. Sometimes they're mine, sometimes they're about musicians, athletes, my sons, my daughters… stories.

I've told how to turn a song into a global hit while drinking beer, and how Frodo landed his role through a casting process completely different from the usual.

One of my favorites was when I told how I landed a website project by explaining my recipe for Spanish omelette. My kids love it. The omelette, not the website.

Those are the kind of stories I tell, and in them you'll learn why some proposals get remembered and others end up in a drawer, even when they're good.

I talk about stories with skin, with emotions. Some make you think, others make you laugh, and there will surely be some that make you cry.

If you want to see how all these stories create a memory in you, a connection and a desire to read the next one, and you understand how important that is for any company, brand or business, then all you have to do is fill in the form.

Shall we make history?

And, of course!

Every decent landing page strategy is missing a key persuasion element. If I haven't convinced you to subscribe yet, here's my last bullet to make it happen. By the time you finish reading this you won't understand how you've been living without everything I offer in the bonus, and you'll inevitably fall into the temptation of leaving me your email.

The Bonus.

Subscribe and I'll explain why all the interesting conversations at parties always end up in the kitchen.

You'll discover an easy way to compete at family dinners with your sister-in-law's shoulder ham. I mean, with the delicious Iberian ham your sister-in-law always brings.

You'll earn the respect — you can see it in their eyes — of the grandmothers in your community. You'll stop being just the dad of your four loud kids (in my case) and become a culinary equal (or almost).

Your friends, the ones who haven't called you to play football in months, will flood your WhatsApp with pickup-game invites and "don't forget the omelette" messages.

That single mom who brought her daughter to your kid's birthday party will taste your omelette, and, gently running her tongue over the little bits left at the corner of her lips, will look you in the eyes and, thinking about peeling back every one of your layers (of onion), tell you it's the best omelette she's ever had.

Your kids, proud of their dad and eager to make money, will start selling omelette sandwiches at recess and you'll get to share quality time with them while you both peel two sacks of potatoes for the next day's business.

Lastly, and least importantly, you'll learn how I sold a website with a presentation that told, step by step, the recipe for my award-winning potato omelette, with a couple of eggs.

Even if your business has nothing to do with selling omelettes, this is worth your time.

THE RECIPE

It's not about eggs.

It's much easier. Leave me your name and email, and hit the button.

If you're looking for templates, persuasion tricks or words that "convert", this isn't the place.

It's not for everyone, and it never should be.
